Class 4: Pilot Implementation for Faith Institutions

The Pilot Implementation is a unique opportunity for training participants to apply the skills they’ve learned - think of it like the “final project” when you were in school. The Pilot Implementation is held either with strictly members of your own faith institution or individuals can participants can engage in an existing Pivot-led project.

The Pilot experience is richer if you participate with a group of other staff from your faith institution who may be in other roles across departments. This provides you with an opportunity to understand how various departments should work together to improve the overall performance and efficiency of your organization.

This final workshop prepares participants to put their plans into practice on a small scale. Teams will learn how to design pilot programs that test strategies, demonstrate impact, and secure long-term buy-in before full-scale rollouts. Guidance is provided on monitoring progress, making data-driven adjustments, and demonstrating quick wins that build momentum internally and externally. By the end of this session, organizations will be ready to launch a pilot that validates their approach, reduces implementation risk, and lays the foundation for full deployment.

Pilot Implementation – Individual Track

For individual participants, Pilot Implementation provides a hands-on opportunity to engage in a live project already underway with Pivot Partnerships. Participants will join a structured pilot—such as a borrower recovery initiative, early delinquency intervention, or community outreach effort—and contribute to real-world implementation activities. Weekly sessions include guided exercises, progress updates, and applied learning opportunities. This track gives individuals practical experience with pilot testing while offering insight into how recovery strategies can be scaled within their own organizations.

Pilot Implementation – Organization Track

For organizations, Pilot Implementation becomes a customized project tailored to your company’s unique portfolio and challenges. Pivot Partnerships works directly with your leadership team to design and run a dedicated pilot—such as testing new outreach methods, borrower engagement strategies, or delinquency reduction approaches. Weekly sessions combine structured learning with project-specific execution, and Pivot provides coaching, facilitation, and a tailored Pilot Report summarizing results and recommendations.
