My Role - Senior Pastor

Story:

As a pastor I want to understand the daily struggles and strengths of both my congregants and the surrounding community so that my preaching, counseling, and ministry programs meet people where they are.

Guidance Criteria:

• Data summaries highlight pressing quality-of-life issues (housing, employment, health, education) affecting congregants.

• Sermon and pastoral care reflect not just spiritual themes but the lived realities of members.

• Ministry programming aligns with identified community challenges, showing the church as a place of refuge and empowerment.

Kingdom and Institutional Value:

• Deepens trust by showing congregants that their pastor understands and cares about their whole lives.

• Bridges the gap between spiritual teaching and practical transformation.

• Strengthens both attendance and engagement by ensuring the pulpit and programs speak directly to real needs.
