My Role - Board Member / Elder

Story:

As an board member, I want clear, data-informed reports that connect financial decisions to spiritual and community outcomes so I can ensure our church is stewarding resources faithfully and staying true to its mission.

Guidance Criteria:

• Dashboards present side-by-side views of financial spending and measurable ministry impact.

• Budget deliberations include both stewardship metrics (funds in/out) and mission alignment indicators (lives impacted, community outcomes).

• Reports are accessible and visual, equipping elders to focus on discernment rather than deciphering spreadsheets.

Kingdom and Institutional Value:

• Strengthens the board’s ability to guide the church with wisdom, integrity, and accountability.

• Ensures resource allocation is measured against mission impact, not just financial balance.

• Builds transparency and trust with congregants, affirming that offerings are used faithfully.
