My Role - Development / Stewardship Officer
Story:
As a stewardship officer, I need to understand giving patterns in the context of congregant and community well-being so I can nurture sustainable generosity and build stronger, longer-lasting giving relationships.
Guidance Criteria:
Donor insights highlight not just capacity and frequency, but also external pressures (e.g., rising costs of living, localeconomic changes) that may impact giving frequency, capacity, and engagement.
Early warning signals show when household stress may impact giving consistency.
Stewardship strategies are tailored to both spiritual growth and practical support, ensuring members feel cared for holistically.
Kingdom and Institutional Value:
Encourages faithful, sustainable generosity that is resilient to external pressures.
Builds donor relationships rooted in shared mission and compassion, not just financial transactions.
Ensures stewardship reflects the church’s dual role: caring for the flock while restoring ministry.
